You can still begin taking classes by registering as a ‘non-degree seeking’ student for your first semester. If you meet admission criteria for the master’s degree program and earn a B or better in your non-degree seeking status course(s), you can transfer them in (pending departmental approval) to count towards your degree program. You should also check with your department to see what their policy is on transfer of credits from this status.
